Earth: The Biography
Adam filmed segments for the series on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Host Iain Stewart and his guides from Pro Tec Diving climbed 20 meters down into a massive underground chamber to explore water-filled caves called cenotes.
Once underground, Adam filmed Iain scuba diving to explore a vast underwater cavern. At the Mayan ruins of Tulum, the team filmed Iain emerging from the jungle to explore a massive pyramid. To get the most dramatic angles, Adam covered the sequence with a jib arm, by helicopter, and atop the remarkable ruin. Also for the series, Adam and Colette filmed a scientist’s exploration of a poison lake in upstate New York.
