Colette and Adam wrote and produced this film about a pioneering expedition to explore seamounts -- underwater mountains that are the last frontier of marine exploration.
The New England Aquarium teamed up with Conservation International and Woods Hole Oceanographic to explore the El Bajo seamount with the Deep See Submersible. The three-person sub was designed and built by Steve Drogin, and is operated by Avi Klapfer’s Undersea Hunter group.
National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry records Wendy Benchley’s and Dr. Greg Stone’s dive for an upcoming article.
