Pigeon Genius

for National Geographic

SeaLight Pictures

Adam produced, wrote and shot this one-hour natural history show  that takes  a new look at pigeons -- highlighting their remarkable flying, navigating and parenting abilities -- and refuting their reputation as ‘sky rats’.

The program features ground-breaking science in Italy, Australia, Germany, England and the US. And it takes an intimate look at pigeon racing and the art of raising ‘fancy’ pigeons... genetically selected for unusual colors and traits.

At the Royal Veterinary College near London, high speed and infrared cameras reveal the secret of the pigeon’s powerful flight... and ‘pigeon-cam’ -- mounted on  a pigeons back --  provides a pigeon-eye-view of the world.
